Ron has developed a significant reputation as the “Go To” executive for organisations who are looking for significant growth, transformation, good governance, asset leverage and/or quality leadership. He has an extensive track record of major business transformations regardless of complexity or adversities. Ron has an innate ability to navigate organisations through realising their untapped potential.
He is recognised as an inspirational leader with a reputation for getting the best out of his teams and getting things done. He is also a strong keynote speaker at corporate events, conferences and development workshops.
His previous roles include Interim positions as CEO at Fed Square, Melbourne Storm, and Melbourne Polytechnic (Formerly NMIT). As CEO & MD of the Melbourne Storm, Ron navigated the club to success post the Salary Cap scandal that rocked the sporting world. Ron also built and implemented a recovery strategy for the financially challenged Melbourne Polytechnic. Ron has also held senior positions in some of the largest multinational and domestic technology organisations including Telstra, IBM, Microsoft and Verizon. He is a Graduate of AICD and has extensive Board experience across a variety of different industries including being the current Chairman of Vicsport.
Currently the CEO of the AIIA, he is also a former Director of the organisation and a former Chairman of the Victorian Council, a former member of the International CEO Forum and he has held a position on the Board of Governors for the American Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM).
Ron is married with five children and seven grandchildren. He has a long history of active involvement in sport and music which includes being a member of the executive covers band Big Kahuna.
